Originally built in the 18th century, this property has had major editions since then. In the 1990’s and extension was built onto the property still in keeping with the 18th century  main building. Norton is a village and a parish in Stow district, Suffolk it comprises 2, 449 acres with a population of 948 in 208 houses. In Henry VII’s time a search for gold was done in the village of Norton.
Mr. Norton explains why he and his wife decided on new Windows; “quality” he states the reason for wanting new windows to be “A want to replace the old windows which where cold and scruffy and the need to be more energy efficient”

Five traditional flush casements were installed in five main areas of the house.  All 5 windows where matching with Period black iron monkey tail, astragal Squares and a Cream Finish. All products in multi-layer European Redwood with timber sections for added stability. Internally beaded throughout for security.
The Flush casement windows where installed with high security multi-point 'perimeter' locking systems. Fitted with locking handles with matching peg stays to all side openers
Mr Reed wanted a reputable company that had experience in quality. In 2011 Mr Reed trawled the internet looking for timber window companies and he found www.timberwindows.com  then in 2012 he was reminded about our company through a letter drop after a consultation he knew we were the right company for him
Testimonial: “I selected to use Timber windows of Fornham as I was very impressed with the quality of workmanship and innovation of their windows. We have an older style house with very poorly insulated wooden Georgian casement style windows. We had been desperately keen to upgrade to modern efficient double glazing but refused to opt for cheap UPVC windows. The look and feel of the house would have been fundamentally ruined so we knew we had to choose wood. But we wanted wooden windows that look as similar as possible to the original but with modern insulating efficiency. Having visited Timber Windows of Fornhams display office we were able to confidently see first hand the type of quality we were to receive. However, the window quality is only part of it. Any concerns I may have had about the quality of the fitting service disappeared very quickly. The two very experienced fitters arrived on time, were courteous, efficient and expertly skilled. They fitted the windows with absolute minimal damage and finished superbly. Having windows fitted of this expense you need to have the confidence in the service and overall quality. I would 100% recommend Timber Windows of Fornham to anyone looking for a high quality product, finish and service.”
