CASTE STUDY: Colchester- Ms Brennan

Timber Windows of Fornham installed windows in Ms Brennans property in July 2012.

Date:
July 2012

History of the property: Ms Brennan explains that;
"The house was in built in 1901 and is brick built. It was built by Paxman's Diesel Engines and is part of a number of houses built for its workers. It is located in Colchester, the oldest recorded town in Britain. Colchester, or Camulodunum.as it was called,was the capital of Britain in the Roman times."

Reasons for wanting new windows: Ms Brennan wanted new windows because "when I purchased the house 23 years ago, the previous owner had taken out the original sash windows in the front of the house and replaced with modern, but out of place, window frames. The couple of sash windows that remained in the house, were very drafty and as well as wanting to improve the look of the house, I was also looking to improve the insulation."

Why did you choose Timber Windows of Fornham: Ms Brennan describes how she trawled through Google search to find a company who she thought would be best to carry out her project.
" I chose them (Timber Windows) because I felt they would do the best job.My communication with Timber Windows was very good at all times."

Testimonial
"I was delighted that I chose to put my trust in Timber Windows – the products are excellent and the fitters were friendly and efficient. Apart from being able to admire the new windows, you would hardly have known that they had been there. Virtually no damage was done to the surrounding walls. I would have no hesitation in recommending Timber Windows to my friends."
