NEW easy-clean sash and casement windows

New and Innovative..

Joining a comprehensive range of traditional and contemporary style products designed for the replacement and new build markets, the new Sash & Case can be seen in dedicated Timber Windows showrooms throughout the country.
The Sash & Case design allows the sashes, which are hung on pre-tensioned sash cords, to be released and simply and smoothly tilted into the room making it especially convenient where access is difficult and ease of cleaning is essential. It is the natural choice for mid and high rise buildings, town houses and busy thoroughfares. The Sash & Case was initially developed by Timber Windows for the Scottish market where it meets the stringent requirements of the region’s Building Regulations’.
“Externally there is no visual difference of the Sash & Case to the windows in our established and popular sash collection which have served our customers well,” says Chris Brunsdon “so the addition of this new window completes a fine suite of bespoke sash products in which slender meeting rails, fine glazing bars and traditional mouldings come as standard.”

Manufactured from multi-layer or engineered, twist and warp resistant knot-free timber, jamming and rattling is totally eliminated, even in wet weather, while high performance, energy efficient double glazing minimises heat loss and reduces energy consumption. A centre pane U-value of 1.1 W/m²K results in considerable energy savings over single glazed and standard double glazed units, with greater comfort and reduced CO₂ emissions.

Sash windows are traditionally finished in smart white or off-white but hundreds of paint colours and stains are available from Timber Windows and make an interesting design statement. A colour matching service to Farrow & Ball and Fired Earth paint ranges is available at a small premium for bespoke schemes. High quality locking catches and traditional sash lifts are fitted as standard, and complimentary casements and doors can be fitted with hardware and accessories from a wide range of beautifully coordinated Samuel Heath collection.
